Friday April 2, 2010 on The Green at Polkobins Tuscany Estate.
Located in the beautiful Hunter Valley of NSW, Flicks on The Green is all about great movies, great wine & great food. Come along & celebrate the joy of cinema in stunning locations across the Hunter Valley including Pokolbin & Wollombi.
Coming Friday April 2/2010 on The Green at Pokolbins Tuscany Estate is the first night of Flicks on The Green. Our opening film is the crime noir classic - The Third Man. Starring Hollywood icons Joseph Cotton, Orson Welles & Trevor Howard, the film is set in post WW2 Vienna where the black market reigns supreme & a host of countries compete for the spoils of war.
Beautifully shot, with an iconic soundtrack by Anton Karas, The Third Man is on every cinema buffs list of greatest films of all time.
So if youve booked a ticket for Carole King & James Taylor on the 3rd why not make it an even more memorable weekend by sharing your Friday night with us at Flicks on The Green.
