Featuring the Wheel of Death from Columbia, Russian Swing, Hula Hoops, Minature Horses and Clowns with a difference.

| The Albion Hotel 18th Annual Bikeshow and Woodchop

Date: 20 March 2010Venue: Albion Hotel, John Street The Albion Hotel Bike Show and Woodchop is now in its 18th Year.
This is a Charity Event with proceeds this year going to a local family suffering hardship.
It is a day that showcases the wonderful bikes and street machines owned by the residents of Singleton. The Woodchop event is highly contested with Wood-choppers appearing from around NSW.
The day begins at 11.00am with Family Entertainment and Bike Judging. One of the highlights of the day is the Burn-Put Competition which is hotly contested.
Live music starts from 3.00pm culminating in a Charity Function at 6.00pm.
The After Party starts at 10pm in Platform 1 and continues until late.

During this exclusive wine & chocolate tasting you will be guided through a selection of the finest wines from Wyndham Estate, including our extensive Shiraz blends, which will be matched with the new premium chocolate range from Nestle.

You’ll be bopping to the sounds of Blue Suede Shoes, Suspicious Minds and mesmerised by the classics; Love Me Tender and Can’t Help Falling in Love.
Speak to our special guests Brian McGuigan and Gretta Anna, or listen to one of our daily talks and tours with our trained horticultural staff.
All seniors receive a special entry rate of $10.00 and a FREE soft serve ice-cream.

The Singleton Red Cross invites the Singleton communitiy to attend the Open Garden - Red Cross "Call in", at the Sister's of Mercy Convent.
This is the third year that this popular has been held, which features stalls of local produce (including Devonshire tea), plants, books and craft located in the beautiful gardens of the Convent.
The Open Garden will run from 10.00am to 4.00pm on Saturday the 27th and Sunday the 28th.

Expect an entertaining afternoon of stringed excellence with infectious rhythms from the far flung corners of Bruce Mathiske’s guitar as well as his engaging and humorous persona, as Bruce returns in concert to Sacred Spaces Singleton on Sunday 28 March from 2.00pm – 4.00pm.
Bruce’s musical range and guitar virtuosity is on display as he performs songs from his latest release “Rhythm Hunter”.
Bruce’s many rhythms and moods are featured in such songs as “Rushin’ Around”, the wistful “Water is Wilde” and in his unique Spanish-influenced take on the guitar standard “Classical Gas”. A highlight of the afternoon will be Bruce’s simultaneous performance of guitar and didgeridoo in the song “Best of Australia Theme”.
