As winners of the prestigious NSW State Tidy Towns 2006, National Tidy Towns Highly Commended 2006,  and the National Tidy Towns Spirit of Australia 2006 awards, Singleton played host to the Keep Australia Beautiful Council NSW 2006 Tidy Towns Presentation Weekend.

In true Tidy Towns’ tradition the event showcased beautiful Singleton, the community and the environment to delegates from across New South Wales.

The event attracted around five hundred people in a celebration of benefits and opportunities in supporting the Tidy Towns program, with other high profile state, national and international organizations.
